The time has come
Well .. moving towards the end of the exam, i am tired and frustrated with the materials on my table. Sometimes i hated them so much as i have to revise them again and again and again and again ...... i think every student knows how it feels. You hated them so much and wanted to tear them into pieces right here right now! On the other hand, you wish you'd love them so that you could have revised the materials with great passion. (which is usually not the case unfortunately ...)Every time i talked to my friend about my frustration on revision, he comforted me in the same way by saying 'you can do it, you're the smartest person. Exam is coming soon!' well i seriously don't agree with him that i am the smartest person, and in fact i don't think i am hard working enough either... i should have studied more during the semester, instead of stressed to memorize all the stuff within several days! Despite of the frustration, what encourage me to study is the last bit he said. "Exam is coming soon!" is the most powerful sentence to make myself sit down on the chair to do the revision.
i thought of how my friend encouraged me was similar to what Jesus said
"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
As we are approaching the deadline, we are so passionated to complete the task until the last minute. As a Christian, we have to remember that the kingdom of God is near! We should not just sit back and relax as if we still have plenty of time. Although things may be discouraging and difficult, making us frustrated, if you know that the Time has come, then we should be harrying to preach gospel to others.

While usually study for the exam and test at last minute, we don't get good results from last minute studying. However, what if there is a important exam that does not tell you when the exam time is going to be. What will you do? Are you going to guess which week and only study that week? Are you going to don't bother and hope that you past from what you have learn? Or are you going to keep studying each week so you are going to be prepare each week if exam comes up? In the same way, when the Lord comes back we don't have last minute preparation.
Matthew 24:42-44
42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
